Shopping list...

Not sure where to post this so...

Could anyone point me in the direction of what I need to source for the T16 conversion? As some of you know I have a full Ti as a donor ready to rock & roll, what else would I need?

Many thanks in advance,

Mick

You'll need a set of bubble 420 engine mounts, drive shafts from the same or a 45 diesel.

Dan (cableguy) on rt can do you a loom, for the clutch hydraulics I'd try and swap the ti m/cyl into the zs.

The rad and i/c may swap from the ti into a zs, try and avoid using a 220/420 turbo rad as they are expensive and hard to source.

There's probably some other bits that I've missed.

don't try and use a 180 radiator like I did, it's a total nightmare to make all the pipes meet as it is totally the wrong way round for the T series

I really struggled to get drive shafts that would fit with the PG1 box too, after trying just about everything a set from a 600 diesel fit nicely!

You might need the gear change linkage off a 420 as well, but only if the ti or 180 ones can't be used.

if you're fitting a PG1 box then the 180 gear linkage works fine.

The lower engine brace needs to be modified slightly though
