£7515 if you count that the tax is 415 from next year, tell you something its a good job i live for cars.
can i ask why you think your tax is going upto £410?

no they didn't change it in the budget. This is only for cars registered on or after 23/03/2006 so if your car registered before this date you will only pay £210 per year.

i have also included a link to the government website showing how much people will have to pay each year.

as the zs 180 are 227g/km exhaust emissions they will fall into the over 185g/km category they will not fall into the 225g/km as this is only for cars registered on or after 23/03/2006.

here is the link so everybody can see it for themselves.

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...le/DG_10012524

you need to look at the second box down for petrol car (tc48) and diesel car (tc49)

and the zs 180's fall into band f not band g as it says for vehicles registered on or after 23/03/2006

nope that is not for this year.it will be the same price for next year aswell

i think you need to look at the small print on what you have just posted.

do you see the small number three by the side of the emissions on band g and if you scroll down the page you will see a list of numbers 1 2 and 3 and number 3 says for vehicles registered on or after 23/03/2006.

Road Tax ... here we go again !

The 3 is only next to the left hand column and relates to cars for the 08-09 year registered in March 06 or after for the higher tax banding.

Our 180's then fall into the new columns for the 09-10 year where it'll be £415 if the car is registered after 1st March 01, and the small 3 does not come into it.
