That the again

Well I can't remember what the last car I posted on here but recently I've been through a firefrost mk2 kitted 120 hatch and the same but in black (still have both of these)

Anyway I am now the proud owner of an Iggy Blue mk2 saloon with a very well done 1.8 turbo conversion. Only delivered today so not had much chance of giving it a run out but loving it!!

Oh interesting - also very curious about the comparison with the v6, in terms of handling and drive-ability.

It was a v6 to begin with, I find it handles better with the reduction in weight at the front end balances the car out a bit more and it sure as hell pulls a lot more than the v6, a lot more noticeable off the line where the v6 can be very lazy.

Well got hit with the dreaded HGF just after xmas. So car went down to MJS and had that done along with a few other bits. Now sporting a vvc inlet with the head being ported and polished to match. Deleted the coolant pipe to the turbo as it was fouling on the rad, must remember to leave it running for a min before switching it off now!

Few little niggles to sort, got a rev hang issue which i've tracked down to either the throttle cable being a little sticky (I hope) or an air leak somewhere (I hope not!!)

Also the washer jets are next to non existant not even making it past the bonnet, hopefully its just clogged jets and I don't have to swap out the pump.

Also picked up some white 11's as white goes very nice with the blue.

Looks nice with the addendums actually. Did wonder if you still had it. Take it you spend more time on faceache these days. (Unless you're selling something that is ... ... )

You put it on the rollers yet ?

Not yet, want to make sure it's running 100% before it gets it dangly bits ragged on the rollers lol

Tbh I've not been doing much of anything, had to give up work back in march 2016 due to 5 slipped discs, just had one removed week before Xmas and to top off a fantastic 2016 got diagnosed with moderate osteoarthritis in both hips.

Ouch .... well hope things start improving for you this year. See "our" silver one's for sale still - might buy it to be honest. Did you sell on with any issues ?

Apart from the driver's window being a bit sticky it was spot on.
