This old chestnut - ZS180 Radiators
I know there's a few threads from years ago kicking about, however I wondered what my current options are.
I've got a very minor leak from the radiator on my 180 - I don't think it's the end tanks, the core itself is pretty corroded.
I notice there's a 45 V6 radiator on eBay - I know they're different, but for £50 part of me really wants to see if I can get it to fit, but parts of me says do it properly.
So, what are my options? £330 from Rimmers is the price to beat.

TBH I can't even give the radiator I have in the garage away... noone wants a second hand rad, even if it was in perfect condition when it was taken off the car! (Car was one I stripped for parts, Rad has been stored in my garage ever since)
If you want it, come get it (so it will cost you the price of fuel) - I seem to remember that someone said they wanted it a while back but never showed up to collect

Rimmers have a price, but can't supply them, or at least they couldn't the last time I checked, so 2 options really, take up the offer by ZS above, or get your old rad recored by a local rad specialist, the fact that none of the after market rad suppliers have offered 180 rads suggests there is a very limited demand for them

I would love to, however I'm 300 miles away from you in sunny Southport - I'll definitely drop you a line if I'm ever down your way (and throw some beer tokens your way, of course!)
I don't know how confident you are with couriers, but I'd happily pay for the radiator, packing materials and your time to post.

Damn, that's annoying - I've submitted them a Close Call request but don't hold out much hope.
The local guy here can't get a core in the correct size, so second hand it'll be!

The inability to source the correct core size is very likely another reason why after market rads are not available.

Seems so - he's been asked before and couldn't help then either, so seems an odd size. Still tempted by the 45 V6 item, I have to say - time for some measuring!

I wonder who made the rads for MGR originally, I doubt they were made in house, very few car makers build their own rads, they are normally bought in from an outside supplier.

They do say they're ordered in at Rimmers, however I have a feeling they'll cancel the order.

Yeah, I noticed Rimmers say they are available to order, but as you say the order normally gets cancelled if the item doesn't show on xpart, I just checked 45 V6 rads, xpart doesn't even recognize the part number for them.
