I know this sounds stupid, but is your gear knob the proper MG leather one?

they are thick layer silicone hoses molded to the OE shape that will NOT split or perish.....

we had them commissioned over on .org for a few group buys but they are available still from roose motorsport..... twice the price of OE.. but imo worth it if you are still on original pipework.

I had my set butchered - which i was a bit miffed about but hey ho...

i do have an oringal gear knob, however if i was driving a bit "hard" it did like to fly off into the back seats!

the down pipe is stainless steel, and larger than the standard 1, so helps flow the gases better. that combined with a de-cat helps alot on the diesel!
