BRM gearbox wanted

yep I would like a cheap BRM gearbox for the 180 track car.

They are a closer ratio with a Torsion B LSD as standard

Gearbox code is B6BST

I would also settle for a Lotus Exige S1 gearbox with code B4BPQ

Won't fit the kv6 as different bell housing. You could change it but bearings can be different size.

From what I understood it was a PG1 gearbox the same as fitted to the Mk1 180 but with different internals.

If it doesn't, thats not a problem as I can get the internals swapped into my gearbox, I was pretty sure they were exactly the same though?

the 180 box is a 'u' box, the 1.8 boxes are non 'u'

you can fit non u internals into a zs box using the correct bearings.

I thought the brm box was a 3.9 final anyway, a track car would be better with a 4.2?

hmmm, thanks guys, might have a rethink but then again, I would like an LSD even if I have to rip one out of a box its cheaper than trying to find one
