Zs 105

So after a busy week or 2 at work I finally got around to giving my Zed a quick clean and here she is

Only got the one picture of her as my phone died so depending on the weather tomorrow I will polish it and get a few more pics up but it scrubs up well after sitting up for 7 or 8 months. Hopefully next week I can get my tax and insurance sorted and I can take her out for a nice long B-road blast

I find the 105 engine has a fair bit of poke for a 1.4 imo and in a ZS when you get up to speed you can hold the speed through the bends nicely so it's not too bad on the back roads

It looks well! Good to see another one back on the road.

meh. Some don't have a choice. Insurance politics over here make it very difficult for under 25s to drive anything bigger than a 1.4. If I didn't have the choice, I'd much rather be in my 105 than any of the alternatives in that class On our roads, they go just fine!

Every Mk2 that I've seen over here has the full 180 bodykit, minus the extreme spoiler. Seeing the 110/120s in UK without the kit was strange to me. They look naked!!

even on a 1.4 ZR I was getting quotes of 4 and 5 grand as a named driver it's daylight robbery. I was lucky with the deal I got through Aviva it was less than 1500 for a ZS but without that i would have been screwed over. I think the kit was standard on the 1.4 and the 180 but they need the kit IMO because otherwise it just looks like MG done the front bumper and then forgot about the rest of it

Ouch. Been there myself. I paid something like IR£3000 for my first policy on a 1.2 Clio when I was 20

ZS seems to be very under the radar here for insurance. Not loaded out the wazoo like the run of the mill Civics and ZRs. Seems like you've found that too! Good job.

Great looking ZS, you can only go so fast on the roads and sounds like you have got round the insurance costs.
