On some of the ZS's there have been instances of the original seat mountings in the floor failing.

Dont know if they could do with a reinforcing plate to spread the load, but I'm sure you know a lot more than me, re the safety bits.

perhaps that's why the touring cars mounted the seat as part of the roll cage

Needs a nice extreme spoiler on the back.

the big spoiler knocks 5mph off the top speed and does naff all for downforce... so there's no point on a track car

But it's not actually a racing car, and I doubt any ZS will get up to its full potential anymore.

that's not the point though, if it knocks speed off then it's creating drag... even on a track car if you've got to the hassle of stripping it all out every little helps

Noobrider will become famous soon enough
The seat is a cheapy put me on for a bit job but it only weighs 6Kgs as opposed to the original seat which is about 12Kgs. They cost £50 new. Once I'm done with it I will convert it into an office chair. I'm after a top dollar seat eventually but funds are a little tight at the moment and I want to get out on track next month.

The spoiler is coming off completely, I think its off a Rover 45 as the car has had a rear end bump at some point.

No its not a racing car, its a hobby and a bit of fun. BUT... I would like to pay homage to the BTCC Hotwheels team and create a bit of a replica....one for my own self gratification and two, to advertise our garage witha bit of a head turner.

Main point of building the car is for me to have fun
