Selling a number plate?

Over the past while I've had a few inquiries from folk wanting to buy my reg.

If I did decide to sell it one day are there specialist auction houses for reg plates?

Cheers

There are a lot of different plate traders. They will agree a selling price with you and then they advertise it for more and keep the profit. This can sometimes take quite a while to sell though so I would say this is the patient route but with probably the best return price.
I wouldn't recommend trying to sell on ebay as you probably won't get what you want for it.

Alternatively if people are asking if you are selling then if they are prepared to pay what it is valued at or more then just do a deal and all you need are transfer papers and sign the plate over to them, but let them pay the fees.
