Must admit ?130 a year Tax is tempting... but at 10p a litre more expensive for Diesel over Petrol the Diesel would have to go quite a bit longer on a tank than my 180!

How much are you hoping to get for the ZS?

Hi

Ive just made a thread in the for sale part.

But chatting to someone who use to work for MG/R said there would be no harm in asking for ?3,000 as its just had its mot and tax.

Just a quite go on the calculater will show us:

Diesel @ 50mpg 13ppm 550 miles to tank ?135 tax 10k per year ?1435
120 petrol @ 40mpg 15ppm 440 miles ?190 tax " " " ?1690
180 petrol @ 30mpg 20ppm 330 miles ?260 tax " " " ?2260

We all know you need to drive a petrol like a grandad to get those mpg's but the diesel gives that as an average driving normally
The more miles the more cost difference. I have owned all 3 cars and I will now stick with the diesel. I loved my 180 just can't afford to run one now.

On another note as far as prices for diesels I paid ?2700 for a 55 plate diesel with 20k on it and full 180 kit as standard in March.
