No mate - they are totally different. That is a kit that you install in your dash, and it tells you if they are working all the time with red or green lights.

This is the thread for people to put up that they are supporters and would like to use Kev's kit.

Both my VIS motors are whizzing away no problem. Am I the last on the list, I am ready to send the test kit on?

Any takers for this VIS tester before it is going back to KevG?

Would like to test for sure, one assumes the motors need to be out of the manifold etc??

No James, the unit can test the motor in OR out the manifold.

finally got round to be able to use this, guys and gals no instructions here

do i just switch it to power or balance and use the reverse and forward toggle?? suppose if lights up green all is ok??

Correct the switches exercises the motor and the green LED illuminates when the the ECU feedback switch is operated.
