Ah, OK mate. I might know someone who could use them in TY - is it OK to ask if they'd like them?

Well I've got the 'box in, and everything reassembled, thanks to my mate Mike who drove down from Surrey to help. So it's now got a new clutch, a 60k gearbox, fresh 'box oil and a new bearing. Should be good for while now.

Only slight issue is the clutch pedal, it's very soft, I'd like a bit more feel in the pedal. Went scrap hunting as well this week managed to get an MNX grille, too, so while the bonnet is still awful, I've fitted the grille. The main thing is, after months, the car works again!

I hope so. I'm receiving some gentle reminders from the other half that I ought to be looking to sell it - too many cars apparently!

I won't get anything - she's 8 months pregnant. That's like trying to flog a Zed with HGF!

I think I've got more cars than she has pairs of shoes, either that or its a draw, so that won't help!

I think I have it sussed by having a woman who appriciates cars and by sharing them.

I bought the maestro and she paid for the engine conversion.
I bought my ZS.
She bought her ZR.
I bought the MGF and "gave" it to her.

I do enough on the ZR to keep her happy and then she doesn't mind so much when I spend time on the others.

I'm very lucky - she appreciates all the cars!

I've asked and they said they don't need your spares mate - I'm sure someone else with a TY car will find them useful, though. Thanks for the offer though, mate.
