thermostat leak

I drove down to truro for a week of yesterday I check the oil this morning when I noticed a bit of liquid in the v and the coolant was a few mm below normal

If my thermostats gone is it easy to replace myself if I find a one Down here in a motofactors

Alternatively what would a garage charger or is there any members down in Cornwall who could help me out

how bad is the leak? may not be bad enough to stop you getting home?, youll need the 3 parts of the stat kit to repair, grease to help install, the throttle body off a 10mm socket on a uj joint on a long extension too and posible something to lever, plus replacement coolant

With a KV6 thermomstat always hope for the best and fear for the worst. They are not all an easy fix, some are lucky, some not so lucky. Mine required the removal of the inlet manifold to gain access as the pipe sheared off flush with the block.
