I found some white creamy stuff in the water expansion tank, does this matter???

Today, a handsome mechanic told me that the HG had gone,

and the dealer promised that he will do it for me and it's free,

But he wants me to leave the car in his garage and come to pick it next Wednesday.

How can I find out whether it has been fixed??? Is it common that he should show me the invoice for the repair ?

Think I would have a pressure test, better to catch it early, before it does any expensive damage, if it turns out to be HGF.

I got one done free last week, just let the garage think that they will get the work by doing it.
Watch them do it also, so they dont spoff you .
