While the students are away...

It's half term, the college is deadly quiet, so I thought I would take the opportunity to get the ZS up in the air & have a quick butchers.

Hmmmm...

Polybush..

Careful, you might fall in...

Being an engineering & motor vehicle lecturer I can use the equipment here. Will be knocking up a battery cover using this plasma cutter, plus the laser cutter to engrave it:

Yup, nice & tidy under there. Tyre treads are looking a tad low so will be looking at getting them replaced. Had an oil & filter change along with the gearbox oil a week before I got it so pleased with that.

Looking to upgrade the speakers at the moment as it sounds a bit tinny in there.

Hahahaha! We had an open evening last week so we made him to entice people into the workshops from the main corridor!

I thought about becoming a lecturer in engineering, never followed it up though. Might do one day, do you enjoy it?

It looks ok under there, the upgrade to the gear linkage is well worth having, the poly bush works better if the edges are softened a bit, like the one on the right in the pic

Easily the best job I've had. I've been on the spanners, Service Advisor, Service Manager & now this. If you told me I would be doing this 20 years ago I would of said righty'o! It's hard work, paperwork is a nightmare but the staff are amazing, the students can be testing but funny but it's all worth it.

Plus I get 40 days holiday
