Had an accident

Driving home from my parents place, chuffed to bits as I'd fitted my new wheels, until BANG. An old lady ran into the back of me at a roundabout, a Ducati was coming round, so I stopped, she didn't and ran straight into me. The damage isn't too bad, the bumper is junk, the trim has split, it's cracked across the bottom and bowed out at both ends. Been to A&E and I have whiplash too. Magic. Poor old girl was in floods of tears and kept saying 'I'm so sorry, it's my fault.' Now have to wait til Tuesday to phone the insurance, thankfully the guy on the bike saw it all, stopped, and gave me his details, so hopefully it should be sorted quickly.

"it's my fault!" is the best thing you can hear in a situation like that I guess...

silly old biddies! i personally think when you get to 60-65 you should have to do a test every 3 years or so.

Bad luck mate but at least you've got someone daft enough to claim responsibility and a witness so should be sorted out pretty quick. My dad worked for many years in motor insurance and his advice in the case of an rta was to get out of your car and blame someone else as that is what witnesses will remember. Always worked for him anyway! lol
