Max power from 1.8 k series engine?

Hiya guys me again with more questions....was just curious what sort of figures anyones got from the 1.8 zs with mods etc or even what the maximum is that you could get out of it before it went bang????

Also is it normal for rear brake pads to wear quicker than the front if not why could this be happening?
Thanks

search PTP's website they do all tuning bits for the 1.8k, they can take it up to about 230 bhp but it will cost a tremendous amount of spondoolacks.
Much cheaper to just get a 180.

Dave

edit ,you could swap out the enginer for something with more go quite easily.

Aauotsport do t series turbo conversions very cheapand they make a good job by the look of it too.
He posts on x power under the same name, drop him a p.myou might be surprised.
Reyland also do a turbo conversion using the audi tt 225 turbo engine, more money though, my cars just had it done so ask if you want to know anything.
