I think when you start to sell a car that appeals to a particular market, it's always good to start high. Someone might be out there looking for a good clean original Mk2 hatch and red their fav colour. Keis appeal to some, but wheels can be changed very easily.

When I sold it, that's what I did and got back what I paid for it when I bought it from an unwitting dealer having done about 5K in the 6 months or so I had it.

Then if it doesn't sell, you start to reduce. Worse thing in the world to sell a car thinking that you've let it go too cheaply. Find this particularly true on the 260s site. The guys there always start high and then end up dropping £1K to £1500 unless it's snapped up because the right buyer comes along at the right time.
