There's a couple of things from looking at the pics, the front bumper/wing seems to be misaligned, the bonnet is lower than the wing, the interior looks filthy, the front seats look knackered, the engine bay looks pretty rusty.

If it goes cheap enough it would be a good buy, but I think it's going to take some work to bring it up to scratch, check its history as well.

I thought this car rang a bell, I checked it's history about 4 years ago when I was looking for a car to stick the T16 engine in, it's a cat D which might explain the misaligned panels around the front end.

I'd be surprised if it makes £1000.

yep its goodwood green, have to say pictures never seem to show the true colour of it.

Will just be surface rust under the bonnet and easy enough to clean up, looks very much like mine did when i first got it and a wee bit of time and some diy painting would tidy it up no end

it still amazes me the number of people who expect a premium for their car when the advert clearly took less than 3 minutes to write

With a BX reg, MG/Rover would have been the first owner on the V5.

Normally means it will come with a few toys as well, might be worth a look.
