i was a yts engineer on ?30 a week in 1999 then went to work for my uncle as a labourer while looking for a proper job then went to s.w. Durham training to learn to be a proper engineer then on to work in an ice cream factory got bored and joined the RAF as an Armourer in 2002 and have never looked back its awsome.

Well first job was at the local football ground selling pies for 17.50 a game

Then I got promoted to being in charge of the folk selling the then a extra fiver a game for that

Got my motor apprentership in 2009 and then got a job at aviva in 2010 and its all good

Saturday job ata gearbox reconditioners, steam cleaning 'em at the age of 12. then started a valeting business when i was 13 from home, cards in newsagents windows, got quite a bit of business as i recall. Hmmmm might be worth looking at again - getting sick of teaching little chavs!

first job i got was working for my dad for the company he was in charge of.

Periodically they would get me in to rebuild the PC's from the hardware to OS rebuilds, or test some of the software from a 'unknown monkey hits random buttons approach' he told me years later it was exactly what the American's they had to rain would do, so they had to test that scenario :S

Can't remember what i was paid, but i think it was about ?20 a day; not bad i thought seeing as i was only 13 at the time

First job was a 4 year mechanical engineering apprenticeship for Marconi Space & Defence Systems, pay was around ?35 per week back in '81.

1st job - ?27 a week as a shop assistant on YTS in 1987.
2nd job - Started at ?263 per month in 1988 - Still doing it - albeit for a bit more money !

was working for myself when i was 14 doing gardening, did everything and was making really good money from it, bought all my own equipment ect, but when i started my apprenticeship back in 2006 i had to give it up due to lack of time, still working as a mechanic now
