Sure there will be a lot of other expenses that crop up, as Stamford says, put it in the repair and maintenance pot.

Um, first fire would be baaad lol, but there will be extensive vids/pics of the progress.

And yeah Pete, its not just the cost of the engine but transport/food etc, plus other eventualities that we haven't come across!

And as you say, having a kitty available will keep it running longer too!!

kitty sounds good to me... maybe names on the car of the people involved as well.
If you can give as much notice as poss on one of the 'work parties' I might be able to do a road trip up there.. last time I drove up there is was to ski years ago haha.
