Trade insurance for the win You have to be 21 though. I've got trade insurance and im 22. 1 years no claims and im paying £1450 thats to drive absolutly any car on the road fully comp for business use and socail domestic and pleasure, except supercars. I can drive amg mercs, bmw m series e.t.c but only on third party basis.

the insurance for my 180 is with A-Plan. i have used these for a good couple of years, i have insured 2, 180's and a 160 mgzt and for all they were the cheapest, and by along way compared to some quotes. i didnt go just for the price, the main reason i used them is because they are 2 minutes down the road.

Back to the car in hand though at the end of the day the seller has lied and probbaly knew it wasn't just vandal damage. This is a common excuse for selling catted cars to make people think there was no serious damage.

I'd e-mail the seller and tell them what you've found out. You might ge it cheaper.

A Plan were by far the best for me. Ive paid £400 every year for the last 3 years and Im now 24 with 4 years ncb. Everyone else was double at the time.

However this year they have bumped it up. So Im moving to either 'the policy shop' or 'first central'. Both quoted £350 with mods!
