I am not 100% sure... That is a question for Ralph (EMS) or someone else who knows more about them than me. I am just a newbie when it comes to induction kits.

Alright chaps, I've been sitting in silence here for sometime watching the great progress that has been made on the induction packages.

I've just spoken to Neil at Intelligent Tuning for one of the ITG kits and put my name down on the list.

He said I was the first and also said that the 300 quid price was for 10. Not sure if we will get that many numbers but the list has started and I'm on it!

All we need now are a few more takers.........

Hi to everyone by the way, Dave here!!

Well there were 11 that said they were interested so we should be good. If we get stuck then i will ask (or get some of the others) on other sites to get the numbers up.

That's fine... More people on board the cheaper.

I will 99% have one. Even though I am unemployed at the moment!

How do these fair against a home brew cone in the inner wing?

From what I gather......a induction kit like an ITG or a BMC are the more 'professional' way to take an air feed for the engine......and the system is quieter.

An open cone in the wheelarch is just as effective mod but can be easily half the cost. Only problem is the filter is exposed to the elements and can get dirty quicker being so close to the ground. If you like the roar sound then generally these set ups are louder than the 'enclosed' set ups like BMC and ITG.

There are lots of pros and cons with each set up......and overall the performance advantages are similar although the only true way to test the best system is to have one of each and rolling road all 3 on the same day and giving each set up a set time to adjust.

I personally am going for the BMC CDA even though like you I am unemployed at the minute and my bank balance in 'critical'

Jim

BMC Custom Pipe

Hi All,

Been away for a while with one thing and another - good to see the buy is on, I am up for a BMC but wanted to check how the custom pipe option will work.

Ralph - are you looking to get this as part of a the kit price or a retrofit cost option?

Cheers,

Greg
