XPower Eibach springs group buy

well as we all know Eibach stopped making the XPower lowering springs for the V6 recently and you can't get them now for love nor money

so I phoned them up and pleaded with them to make some more... and they actually said yes!

only problem is I need to have 50 orders before they will put the batch into production

So spread the word on every MG forum that you can find and get a list made up -

this will probably be the last batch to be made for the V6

I'll let Ross confirm but IIRC they were about £180 before they stopped making them... so my guess would be at least the £200 mark (they aren't going to make a small custom batch without charging extra).

i cant see why they would as they have already got the tools/jigs to do the job. So its just a matter of making them and shipping them to us.

Any incurred costs would be due to the setting up time involved. The machines take time to set up for such specifications and it doesn't end there, there is final machining and heat treatment involved.

I've been quoted around £145 a kit plus postage

Well be going ahead whenever the numbers are right

Also could somebody possibly post this up on site like ZS central / XPower forums ect so this gets maximum coverage. Just post a link to this thread as I don't want to be chasing people over several forums

£145!!! Even the 1.8 model springs are more than that... I might need a set shorty so give me a few nights and i may add myself to the list.
