Ive noticed that the speedo is normal quite a way out quite often as much as 10% also depends on the wheels that are fitted. My road angel has got me doing 119 but speedo said over 125. On my private run way that is

With gps apparently its not a pin point possition you can be anywhere with in a 3meter radius

dunno , my tomtom is a fair bit off with the merc but was only out by 1 or 2 mph in the iveco. my own navman seems to be spot on in the zed tho.

not a 180 but i think when it was standard it may be able to get to its theoretical book top speed....

However i have been in ride in a heavily modifed 400 'tractor' as a passenger and i saw over an indicated 140mph and it was still pulling!

usually the derv's run out of puff at 4200rpm but his mods and fueling adjustments kept it going right up to 5000 or so iirc
