Will lighter wheels improve handling?
Hello all,
I'm going to look into getting some new wheels soon as mine are kerbed to oblivion and I've been offered part of them payed as an xmas pressie
But I'm thinking, is it worth getting some lighter wheels? will it improve handling?
Many Thanks
Jake

Should improve handling a bit, as well as acceleration. The one thing with light wheels is they need to be strong too.
Pro Race 1.2's are good lightweight wheels.

It probably will improve handling but i can't imagine it making much difference.

TjP.
I'm not sure how to do that quote thing. What are these "old Rota Grids" you need to get shut of? I proper kerbed one of my rims yesterday and I'm gutted so trying to think of what to do. New rims or repair and spray the original bad boys!......
