Take some pics!

I've taken some pics, will post them later, too tired now.
Managed to remove the radiator, engine mount, auxiliary belt, aircon compressor and the aircon pipes. My idea many years ago to use stainless hex socket button heads on the slam panel was a bad as couldn't undo them! Had to drill them out as the hex rounded off!

Looking sorry for itself!

Ordered a few bits to get me moving. Non air con aux belt and a pair of steel trailer arches

Machined up a new reducer from Delrin for the BMC to TB as the BMC one was oval and not gripping the hose, so a thicker walled one was the way forward, nice snug fit on the BMC and hose.

A few more bits off and found some rust that needs treating around the front tow brackets and inner wings, dirt traps. Looks like one bit may need a plate welding in place, won't know until I get the wheel off and remove the sealant etc.

Just done a dummy BMC install where the battery would normally be, ideal position and I have the necessary hoses already, little mods to do to make this work. Just ordered a new flexible hose as the current one is well past it. Got a few brackets to machine wire brush and ready for paint, might as well whilst it is in pieces! I can see this work snowballing and becoming something different!

Well a trip to Halfords ended up over £40 lighter, spray hammerite (blue), rust treatment, stonechip spray and a bottle of CO2 for the welder, hopefully get that working again. So that's me ready for some more work tomorrow and thereafter. Got a few brackets to sort and after getting the lower rad fan brackets off they need a couple of bits turning up on the lathe as they have rusted away so much.
