I can fully endorse Reidy Re-maps, as i happen to be an agent for him.

Fantastic service, spot on re-maps, brilliant value for money.

I will guarantee that nobody will be left dissapointed.

Cheers
Dave

Definatly interested - need to know cost and date.

One question though - will you get the same attention to detail that you would if you didn't go in a group?

Good point cant see them getting through a whole group in one day. Wouldnt want a generic map, especially with the cams!

If this goes ahead then I would suggest Matt be sent a list of the cars interested and detail the mods of each car so he can gauge what can be mapped with my original map etc as James rightly pointed out a cammed one will be bespoke.

I am expecting each car to be tweaked individually. I'm sure Matt won't mind me quoting his email convo here:

Realistically max of 7 in a day but if all pay a deposit then we can split them over two days.
1 - £220
3 - 200
5 - 185
7 - 170
10 - 150 >>> let's aim for here yeah?

Awaiting response from: "Would you spread it over two or three weekends? How much deposit? Definitely one for after payday. I'll get an idea of numbers and get back to you."

As for when, we'll see who is interested and I'l make a google calender or something, could be useful for other stuff too like the do stuff meets.

Re the attention/time taken. Can those who already have one comment on how long it took? Looks like we'd be given about an hour each which seems ok for tweaking a generic map to suit? I've only heard good things so if Matt says he can do 7 cars I would expect to be pleased with the result.

Congrats Craig, get used to not having time to clean your car. Somehow I've managed about 8 hours of tweaking and two quick washes in a month...

I cannot comment on time taken as mine was the first KV6 to be done by Matt and hence became the benchmark some 3.5 years ago! Still pulling well and smooth today. We took all day and some 11 or so runs until we maxxed it out and it got too warm.

Make sure your engine is in tip top condition, VIS working well or you will be disappointed if they are not. Also know before you go which grade fuel you intend to stick with as he can map for standard 95 RON or go for 98/99RON, but make sure before you go and put the right fuel in!

Probably one for matt but u assumed map for 98 and let the knock sensor do the rest. I've dabbled with 98 but usually just use 95. Which do you recommend?

The sensors and standard map can only take so much, the rest needs to be tweaked within the map to make the most of the changes, might not be a lot but at the top end it'll make a difference plus economy.

No, best use the money on breathing mods first then look at a remap, gains are minimal but in the long run good for economy and if doing the occassional trackday you'll see a difference at the top end. The more mods done the more it'll improve the car overall. As any nasp car you will not see figures like you would on any diesel.
