MG ZS 2005 mk2 2.0TD 180 kit Spares or Repair NOW ON EBAY!

Hi Guys, Right i advertised on here before that i was breaking my ZS.

http://www.themgzs.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=16934

ebay link:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006344757...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

Unfortunately due to work commitments and other things i havent really got the time to keep it stored and keep slowly stripping it for bits. I know i would get the most money stripping it for parts but due to my work now being long hours, and a lot of it being away from home i just dont have the time anymore, so im going to sell it as it is, for someone else to either strip it for parts, or try to repair it.

Ill give you a brief history of the car, It is a 2005 54 plate MG ZS 2.0TD+ with the 180 kit on it. I bought it standard with 87,000 miles on it. I crashed the car about a month after i bought it, causing front bumper, wing, rear bumper and rear quarter damage. All of this was fixed apart from the rear quarter. I bought 2nd hand front and rear bumpers, and a brand new wing, which i had all painted. My friend did an experiment on the front and rear bumper for me, with some real carbon fibre, which looked amazing! I Think it now has in the region of 103,000 but i will check. I have owned the car for just over a year, and in that year i had changed the injectors for sdi injectors, put a k4.80 filter on, roose motorsport intercooler hoses, powerflow back box, wingy downpipe and de-cat pipe, and had the ecu re-mapped. After the ecu was re-mapped the car was running around 160bhp! but unfortunately it did not take long for me to chew the clutch!

I had the clutch changed, and then a few weeks later it felt like the car was getting slow. I took the car back to where it was re-mapped as they wanted to fiddle with the map to see what they could get. It only achieved 140bhp on the rollers that time, with a strange power curve, as if the engine was being strangled somewhere! I originally thought this was the new clutch (it was a techni-clutch and after it was fitted i heard bad stories about them so i jumped to the conclusion it was this). Therefore i had the clutch changed again. Since this moment the car has never started again. The glow plug light comes on, and stays on. Ive had auto-electricians baffle their brains on the car to try and work it out, but nobody i have had look at the car can tell me what is properly wrong. I've checked all the earth straps, changed a few sensors that the diagnostics came up with, but still nothing. The two main suggestions i have as to what is wrong, is either the ECU, or the injector pump (the ecu on the injector pump could have gone). If it is the injector pump has gone it would suggest why the power was down, as it was not delivering enough fuel to the engine, and having done 100,000 miles going from 111bhp to 160bhp may have just pushed it over the edge!

I have 2 sets of seats available, 1 set is the set pictured below, although this is not the set currently in the car. In the car at the moment is a set of mk1 half leather with red inserts.

The car itself has some parts missing now (as i sold some parts when i was breaking it)
SDI injectors were sold (although i will include the old standard injectors)
Powerflow back box is sold
wheels were sold (it will just have some standard steels on so it can roll)
Roose Motorsport intercooler pipes were sold
front bumper was sold
Front and rear bumper 180 kit spats/body kit parts are not on the car, but for the right price will be included.

i dont really have a price in mind, but im open to offers! so pm me if your interested!

These are pictures of what damage was done in the crash, it was all repaired apart from the rear quarter damage

It is not drivable. I suspect either injector pump or something electrical. It has got tax and mot but I would have to find out. The crash wasn't registered.

Yeah sorry my fault for not reading the first post

I'll check to see how much it is to get it trailered down this way

it would be useful to find out how long is left on the tax and test...

Also are any of the pictures "current" ?
