HIDs 2nd time round

After fitting them in the 120 Ive decided im not driving at night without them again, so time to order some for the 180 (MK2) now im sure I had one set of H7 and one of H7R is that correct? Have read that the H7R are more likely to be 'more legal' due to the beam pattern they give off in reflector lenses

Just save the old bulbs and for the sake of about 10 mins change them for MOT. It's what i did.

Better safe than sorry is my theory.

IIRC when I fitted the HIDs to my main beams they go in the other way round so the 'shield' is on the bottom side of the bulb. I don't know how or if this affects the beam pattern. What I did find though is it took ages to warm up and once it was warm it was so bright road signs became dazzling so I got rid of the HIDs!

Job done.. I ended up robbing them out the 120 in the end as it hadnt sold first time around. Turns out they were both H7s.
