when i was 20 and first got the ZS 120 i went with Adrian Flux, they did me £600 fully comp with a £500 excess on 0 no claims and 0 modifications.

now i am 25, still with Adrian Flux, i get £500 fully comp with £200 excess on 5 years no claims and all modifications declared.

remember... the higher your excess, the lower the insurance charge! which with a car that can easily be written off by so much as a bird ******** on it... i figured taking the high excess to start was a good way to go

I was insuring my highly modified and engine swapped Honda CRX with Flux when I was 17/18.. Although they may have changed their policy since!

As a side note I've been getting quotes the last few days as my policy is due to be renewed next month, I've been getting quotes £700+ to insure the derv, although I've not tried Flux/Sky/CK yet as the policy is up on the 18th so is too early

I have not tried Flux.

I am afraid i have had 2 erports of them not paying out as much as they should for a write off; and been very difficult about it.

One was about 10 years ago and was brother in law, the other was a few months back from a good friend.

So for me that is enough to keep me from using them

each year i request an agreed valuation

just have to send off some photos and receipts and then agree an ammount of what they will pay out in the event of a write off. paid £3000 for m car 5 years ago, i have agreed with them £2500 this year

I'm 22 I was quoted £550 (although monthly so I'm paying a bit more) with Adrian Flux for a ZS 120 with 4 years NCB. Although having said that, I opted to go TPFT just for this year. Fully comp would have taken it up to £800-900 and can't really afford that at the moment. I'll be paying more at renewal anyway because I'll change to fully comp.

My first car at 17 was a 1.3 MK2 Golf. I paid about £1300 on my Dad's insurance for that. Mad how much cheaper it gets in such a short amount of time.
