So the rear visibility is shocking in the B. While we're deciding what to do to sort the brake issue we have we decided to fit some mirrors.

Did have those bullet style ones but they were crap for seeing anything, so we decided to go a bit more modern...none of the rest of the car is exactly traditional so I reckon these look the dogs danglies on her....

While I was up at the unit I noticed Dad has come over all funny with a strange orange obsession as these bits from our Robin Hood project show...

Soooo, after the brake problems we've gone for a pedal bloc for the brakes and clutch and remote reservoirs doing away with the servo (saving more weight while we're at it).

Reservoirs...

Pedal box...

Smile

Better start with the leg weights, to build those muscles up.

Know my MGB GT was heavy without the servo!!!!

Clutch and brakes now working fine with the new pedal box and over the weekend we also fitted a fuel gauge, worked first time which is great as I'm really not a fan of electrics!

Just a bit of tinkering with the plate to fit under the floor to brace the pedal box and then calibrate the speedo, fit number plates and rear plate light and that's about it.

MOT time soon!!

Small bit of work on the MGB this weekend, plate for pedal box all sealed up and foot rest now fitted. May have to change the seat for something a bit smaller as it's pretty cramped inside and won't be very comfortable to drive, a smaller seat will allow it to be mounted further back giving us more leg room, etc. Decision decisions.

In other news the budget Robin Hood project is coming along slowly....
