I am at the weekend looking at a 53 plate R75 estate 1.8t, its a one owner car with 42k, at this mileage the engine expired and a recon engine was fitted by a garage known to me, the owner drove the car home - 21 miles - and parked it, its been sat for two years,

the big question, do I save this car or do I take the engine, which I would have plans for

Depends on what you could get it for. Plenty around but what would it be worth if readied to sell with low miles?
