there are 2 cars im interested in owning and thats a rover 200 or the mk1 zr.

but then again with the zr's wich would be better 1.4 or 1.6?

I wasn't aware they did a 1.6 ! Just go for a 1.4, but don't expect much change from £1500+ to insure it as your 1st car, especially if you don't have a garage !

zr petrol are 1.4, 1.8 or 1.8 vvc, I would imagine insurance on even a 105 (1.4) non + model would be quite expensive.

Sarah, i don't think insurance will too bad for you on a mk1 zr 1.4 because insurance will be cheaper as you are a lady and aren't you around 20? So won't be as high as if you were say 17 Would be cool if you got a zed
