Kwik Fit Air-Con Re-Gas....Any Good?

As above, i think they are asking £49 but has anybody on here had this work done by kwik fit. Or can somebody recommend someone better or cheaper in the birmingham area??

theyre was a Guy On XPF who took his car to be re-gassed at Kwik Fit they did the job and also Blew his compressor up in the process it may have been a dodgy garage but id take it to a specialised Air con place if it was me

I had mine done at kwikfit last year along with some mailorder tyres being fitted, $50 cash as the manager was out

The guy on XPF had a faulty pipe, IIRC it had been partly worn through where it was rubbing, there was some discusion at the time as to should the kwikfit guy been paying more attention, IMHO kwikfit did the right things to get around the issue.
