Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE auto

Thought I would try here first as some of you may know someone looking for such a vehicle. As most already know I am out of work and therefore have to sell the Discovery in order to survive into the new year as work opportunities are poor this time of year.

Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE automatic 2006.
Lugano Teal-rare colour.
Beige alpaca leather interior and trim.
Memory drivers seat.
7 seater.
LR towbar and twin electrics, new towbar and recently checked and replaced by LR dealer following recent recall.
156k miles and will increase slightly as still used.
MOT end Sept 2016 and FSH, folder full of all receipts including cambelt service.
Current 3rd owner from new.
2 keys.
Factory privacy glass.
Side steps.
Wind deflectors.
Mudflaps.
LR rubber floor mat set including rear load area.
Alpine glass roof, electric sunroof.
Powerfold door mirrors.
Autodim rear view mirror.
Heated 1st and 2nd row seats.
Heated front and rear screens.
Front and rear parking sensors.
Harman Kardon Logic 7 sound system and Bluetooth, 6 disc head unit.
Roof mounted LR DVD player, includes x2 cordless headphones, remote control and games controller.
Voice activation system.
Touch screen satnav and offroad information.
Xenon adaptive headlights (move with the steering)
Armrest fridge unit. (takes 4 cans or bottles)
Rear aircon and controls.
Load cover.

Recent front wheel bearing, front brake pads and a new tailgate solenoid unit.

Only selling as made redundant recently and therefore need to make some sensible decisions. This is a well spec’d Discovery with just about every extra going. The first owner was a JLR director. I don’t want to sell it but I have to be realistic. Will be very sad to see this go as this was the specification I wanted.

Bad bits:
Door cards have a few nicks from the previous owner where the seatbelt has been caught when shutting the door, cannot be seen when the door is shut, never got around to repairing them.
The odd carpark dent and scratches from 9 years in service. Advisories on last MOT-nsf & osf suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement. Price reflects this work.

Currently has a private plate but will be switched back to its original 56 plate. Original grill supplied as well.

Looking for:

£8300 with brand new 20” alloys and brand new Maxxis Marauder tyres as in photos or
£7400 with standard 19” HSE alloys as originally fitted.

Autotrader valued this at £7910 with 19" alloys so gone under to allow for advisories mentioned.

Happy to p/ex Audi A6 estate or ZT-T both auto and diesel.

That looks to be in good order - have you thought about an avert on www.disco3.co.uk; people are always looking for nice examples on there?

Good luck with the sale.

Sadly let it go earlier . Wasn't a nice feeling as loved that car. Still, money in the bank soon to get us through Xmas and into the new year. Got an interview this Monday and two more to schedule in. Sod's law and I'll get an offer into January!

Didn't take that long to be snapped up, was a great looking car. Such a pity it had to go but needs must. Hopefully you were happy with the price you got for it

Price was less than hoped but expected so can't grumble as it will keep my head above water for a little while.

Things look a little brighter, I have an interview Monday which could be hopeful as the company is similar to a previous one so have relevant experience etc. Also waiting on two more to schedule dates.

Would be nice but way too pricey for me. Anyway D5 isn't far off so D4 prices should drop.
