She's on the road

Well finally have XPG on the road 107k on the clock and its the quietest K Series i have heard since owning a new one back in 2003, Did the HG then ran it for a few weeks just had 1 water leak on thermostat housing. Had it in for its MOT last week and all it failed on was CV boot, numberplate light and handbrake, got advisories on corrosion (see pics) all in all its not a bad car for £150, she now stands me at a tad over £400 but all in all well pleased.

Nicely done - pretty tidy looking....

mine was probably a bit grimmer than that as it was a MOT advisory a couple of years back - so we treated it..... just as well as it's been sat for so long now!

with all the mk2's around you forget how good an XPG mk1 hatch looks

Rust dont look that bad but id get under there and scrap off all the loose crap and get it coated before the rustie worm eats a hole into it :-)
