Clifford alarm

I've just removed the Avant 5.5 Clifford alarm system from my ZS.

This was £1000 fitted when new.

It consists of a Thatcham 1 alarm and immobiliser, tilt and entry sensors, sounder, remote boot and remote starter. The fob has a much better range than the O/E fob.

I was careful to snip all cables as close to the main loom as possible with the exception of a couple of earth leads. The only causality was the aerial as I managed to snip the plug off when I snipped the cable tie that held the extra loom out of the way, it should be repairable or replicable.

The main reason I've removed it was because it caused conflicts with the O/E immobiliser when travelling by ferry which we do quite often.

It will be supplied with 2 working fobs, all the cable and plugs and the owners manual. Install info can be found on www.12volt.com .

Installation is quite easy if you can solder, you only need to cut into 2 of the ignition wires and 2 of the central locking wires and tap into a couple of others.

I will also throw in the remote start button and the gearlever surround.
