Whenever i sell a car i always blank out the plates, due to reasons above and if someone gets an insurance quote of confused etc it shows on the hpi report, i had 2 pages worth on my old yellow zed where i got an ins quotes of such websites

If someone is genuinely interested in buying the car i have no problem giving them the reg etc

i foned that guys and the fella could hardly talk a word of english so it looks like it is up a back alley and ull walk away with no money and more to the point no car

I actually enquired about this car yesterday as it was pretty near me and obviously very cheap! I asked has it any service history... the answer was just a simple NO. Has it got any old MOT's... again.. NO. Good start i thought!! Was just about to ask arranging a viewing when he told me its a cat C write off but he recons its been fully repaired... Hmm. I did get the REG off of him. I'm steering well clear from this one!! I done a quick 'my text check' with the reg and got the reply "YH05XEF has multiple insurance loss records. Most serious is vehicle damage catagory C. Loss date 17/12/2009"

So my advice would be to steer clear!
