how many miles to a tank!!!!

done 2 trips to london in my 180, first run got me 350 miles to a tank and the trip there and back today, i have just got 392 miles to a tank!!!, WTF is going on!! the most i have ever had out of a tank is 310 before, cant belive it

and who says the 180 is a thirsty car lol

Were you doing 60mph and not flooring it?

Also wind can affect it, quite possible you had tail winds!

nice choice or words there! Perhaps it's a sign of old age

I averaged 320 to tank when commuting, had in excess of 400 ONCE! That was on holiday and driving like a tourist!

ya'll be suprised how well these big engines do on long motorway journeys!

Should of said you were around london though, could of used a bit of a clean

Big engines do far better on a motorway as they use much less power getting upto speed.

2.5L sitting at 1.5k rpm or a 1.2L screaming at 3/4k rpm

Mine seems to be getting better aswell. Just put ?30 in and got 270 miles. Thats 46 mpg! I didnt go above 65 though.
