BRG 120+ hatch.

Hi, got myself this 2 weeks ago and it was in need of a little TLC.....
First things first was full service as it has no history, then was missing badly!! So new coil packs sorted that issue, then it was running on 2 due to the timing slipping so timing belt kit acquired only to find that the bottom cam pully had a chunk out of the inside!!!! Couldn't find a new one so a trip to the scrappy was had and it took me almost 3 hours to get one off as it was stuck, but they charged me £3 for it so that was a score. Running sweet now though and couldn't be happier, I will get a few more pics up tomorrow after a much needed clean!!

Looks good, especially in its native habitat (on ramps in a garage :P).
Seriously though, good looking motor and its really satisfying doing the work yourself. Im sure youll love it once the niggles are sorted.

Good job you know how to do all the work, sounded a bit of a pain to get the cam pulley off.

Still, got it for a good price, lucky they let you just take a bit off.

yeah the motor was blown in the scrap car anyway so didn't make any difference to them, just lucky for me I guess.

Good to see someone putting a bit of time and effort into these cars, with all the problems could easily have been scrapped or broken, and what is that parked next to the cossie? Hillman?
