That's odd, the screw and grommet should come as a pair, it might be worth confirming that with Rimmers though.

Well fitted the exhaust today and its too short , must be a mk1 version. I'll see if its okay at the MOT center.

Another thing is the reverse parking sensors kinda work when they feel , If i put it in reverse with the engine off away from anything i get a long beep but if my friend moves his hands in front of the sensors it will not beep. I can hear the sensors clicking ( All do it ) , could the fact that the guy sprayed them affect there workings? There standard rover sensors not a aftermarket.

Is the wiring correct? Sounds like it is reversed if a long beep when on and nothing with a hand in front.

I think either that's is indicTing a fault or you are putting it into test mode!?! I mind reading something about testing if the sensors were working by listening for the clicks. They are the same as BMW sensors, worth searching for those symptoms on bimmers through goggle too.

Did a couple of small jobs today . I've noticed that the washer bottle hose rubs on the driveshaft but I don't know where the correct location should be.

Messing around with the speakers seems the guy had amps and a sub , is there a speaker diagram on here?

iirc the washer hose comes up from the pump and through the same hole as the filler tube, then along the top of the chassis rail
