If the front suspensions took a knock good chance its pulled the drivesahft out hence the oil.

Id take £500 for it to take it off my hands. Might have to drag the Golf out to use as my daily runner from now! Im definatley gonna consider buying another. I wanted to claim on my insurance but dnt wana lose my no claims. Let me know if you are interested though

taking into account the cost of the excess and rise in premiums, you are probably better off doing what you're doing. I take it the person who overtook dangerously didn't stop so you can't claim off their insurance?
