Beep, beep, beep
Got in the ZS to go out to lunch with the inlaws, turned the key and nothing, just a 'beep, beep, beep'. Turned the key back and it started fine. Got some cash at Tesco, same thing again. Had lunch, went to come home and all is back to normal. Any ideas what it was?

Maybe you need a new battery in your fob?

Ah, that's it then. I unlocked it, and then had to come back into the house as the Mrs was taking FOREVER to get ready and come out!

Battery getting low in the keyfob. If flat then the immobiliser kicks in and does its stuff as it is getting a low signal from the proximity circuit.
