I picked up a Mk1 180 with history loads of extras full kit and on a 03 plate for ?1500 and it was fantastic, look about there are some really good cars at stupid prices out there.

If you go for a 180 make sure the cam belts have been changed otherwise it will cost about half your car budget to get it done.

You would get a really nice mk1 for ?1100 there is a low miles cat d mk2 on piston heads for ?1350

There arnt many cars worth less than a 180 on a year for year bassis.
