Yeah, sounds like too much time and work to sort it out. I wouldn't mind if i only lived a couple of miles from work and had time in the evenings to tinker but i need the car to be able to travel back and forth to kent from dorset to see my partner.

I would love to do a turbo conversion tbh. Miss my turbos.

If thats the case bud then your quickest option will be a replacement kv6 lump,

500-700 quid for a average mile engine,40-70k.


do the belts while doing the cams.

wonder what caused it to fail so bad

Didn't have any holes in the casings fella. Still reckon it was the timing thats done the damage. Just hope i can get someone to do the work for a reasonable price.
