We finally found one!

Well further to my wanted thread we went to see a Rover 45 TD saloon today. 1 owner, absolutely mint condition, same garage done all the servicing etc. Like its been in a time warp. Appears to be an absolute bargain so far.

Only one downer... the bonnet was releasing fine when we went to see it but just went to check the fluids again now shes home and PING, there goes the passenger side bonnet release cable. Tried pulling from inside the car with pliers but I think its broken at the catch end .

So was hoping one of you guys could help, is there a way of releasing the bonnet without damaging the bonnet of grill?

Any help would be massively appreciated. Obviously PM would be cool if you dont want to write how to do it on an open forum.

Pics of the new 45 and my VNT turbo diesel ZS build are to follow
