New pics + new wheels

Just thought i would stick some new pics of my car up.
Got the new road wheels. 18" team dynamic driftz yesterday with 205/40/18 michelin piolt sports tyres.

Carbon spoiler

Now striped and new cobra 512 bucket seats + sparco 3 point harnesses. Looking at getting the doors covered with thin alloy sheeting or similar.

New breather filters now in place. After one of the old T pieces shattered the night before Oulton Park trackday on tuesday this week!

Looking very good Dave

Sitting nice and low, how much lower?

So, what did the wheel/tyre weight come out at? Suits it very well.

What's the cabin noise like? I was going to do something similar but not sure unless I buy another zed for work, reckon 70 miles a day commuting may give me a headache!

Looks like you're growing mushrooms in that engine bay! Noticed anything different with them fitted or need regular cleaning?

Last question what are the small chrome like boxes on the inner wing area?

Not sure how much lower it is tbh. Looks lower now anyway with the 18s.

Cabin noise isnt that bad tbh, i was expecting it to be louder.
It was rather loud driving back on the M5 from Oulton park with the r888s on as well though!!!

The filters haven got dirty as of yet. They have done about 400 road miles and 120 track miles. Shouldnt be a problem though, and if they do its vey easy to clean them. Will to it every now and again anyway.

Thwe silver boxes are for the xenons.

I take it you are running 17's with the R888's then?

Out of interest what is the offset of your 18's?

No R888s are 205/55/16 and 195/50/16 atm on MG harpins. They rub quite well !

The offset of the 18s is same as std wheels 45 so no issuses
