I've seen the phrase "front splitter" used on the forum, what is it ?

It's the very bottom bit of matt black plastic valance under the colour coded front bumper.

Not factory fit mate - you need to get one off a Laguna I think. Mine was on when i got it

Asked more than my fair share but usually get a helpfully reply.
Front splitter is the bit below the front bumper and can be modified with usualy on the MK 1 by using the Laguna splitter
and MK2 by using the Cupra splitter
there are others that can be used and personaly Im thinking of doing this mod toine in the summer.

No, didn't come with MGs. One of the one that people use is from the Leon Cupra if I remember correctly.

Also, no such thing as a stupid question. You thread has just reminded me I have a splitter up the loft that I should get around to fitting

As you have a MK1 then the front splitter you would be best with is the one Dan showed in the picture (Renualt Laguna) splitter.
