I think when you start to sell a car that appeals to a particular market, it's always good to start high. Someone might be out there looking for a good clean original Mk2 hatch and red their fav colour. Keis appeal to some, but wheels can be changed very easily.

Then if it doesn't sell, you start to reduce. Worse thing in the world to sell a car thinking that you've let it go too cheaply. Find this particularly true on the 260s site. The guys there always start high and then end up dropping £1K to £1500 unless it's snapped up because the right buyer comes along at the right time.

You are right Dan, always come down, but can not go up, less you withdraw it and start again.

But then you would know the ins and outs, with the wheeler dealer hat on!!!
